Niko's Exotic Bird Rescue

Niko's Exotic Bird Rescue started when our Executive Director D.J. Corvin bought his first bird Niko, (a blue and gold macaw). At this time he didn't realize there were so many birds out there that needed a great home. After receiving many phone calls from other people who seen he had a bird and wanted to give him their birds, he knew there had to be somewhere these poor babies could go and have a great home. He was mistaken. There was not a rescue in the New River Valley for Exotic Birds. That's when he decided to change that. He started Niko's Exotic Bird Rescue. Now with help from the community, and volunteers Niko's Exotic Bird Rescue is doing well helping all birds that need homes, medical attention, rehabilitation, and love, get what they need and deserve. ALL THE ABOVE AND MORE..Niko's Exotic Bird Rescue is a non-profit 501c. rescue that runs on donations from our volunteers, businesses, individuals, and community.
